Easter of 2021 Lexington Blue took it upon their hearts to show compassion for the growing issue of homelessness in our Fine city of Lexington,

Dr.Brad Pagel and the team at Lexington Blue came together for a cause close to our hearts—making a real difference in our community through a massive Easter charity food drive for the Homeless. Delivering over 1,100 care packages to the homeless and less fortunate. We believe being a good neighbor goes beyond providing high-quality services; it’s about lifting each other up, especially during challenging times.

Lexington Blue’s CEO Brad Pagel’s idea behind the food drive was simple: bring hope and nourishment to the homeless and less fortunate in need during Easter, a time when gathering together can mean so much. 2021 was still a challenging year for many in our community, so we wanted to step up in a big way, Rallying not just our staff but also the community at large to collect food donations and essential supplies.

Lexington Blue’s CEO vision stemmed from a deeply personal place—his own experience of growing up homeless. Not only did he lead the cause, but he personally contributed to the food drive, both in spirit and in resources. Hands-on leadership, along with his generosity, set the tone for the rest of the team and our community. His dedication inspired many to get involved, and his contribution played a key role in the overall success of the event.

Our goal was ambitious, and thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our neighbors, we exceeded every expectation. From canned goods to fresh produce and pantry staples, the donations poured in. By the time we wrapped up the drive, the shelves were overflowing! This success wasn’t just about the volume of donations, it was about the heartfelt contributions from individuals, families, and businesses alike.

As the donations came in, our team got to work packing boxes full of food and supplies. It was all hands on deck, from our sales reps to office staff, and even friends and family who wanted to lend a helping hand. The best part? Seeing the smiles and relief on the faces of those who received the care packages. Each box represented more than just meals; it was a reminder that they weren’t alone, and that their community cares.

Our Easter charity food drive in 2021 not only provided much-needed assistance to local families but also reinforced our commitment to being apart of our community. The success of the event has inspired us to keep giving back in any way we can. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it possible, our incredible team, the local organizations, and, of course, our community members who showed up in such a big way.
